Given the extremely active comments in this blog discussing about the scams and how to prevent them, we have decided to setup a Spam forum where users can discuss how to prevent and stop such scams from continuing to be a menace to our society.   This forum is setup also in the hope that victims of scams can have a venue to turn to for advice and help to support them in their struggle to get back what had been scammed from them.   The forum is setup at Scam Forum

    Jst got done myself 15th Oct.2008! I was a bit slower then the rest of you though,,,and.. I even sent a thankyou. Realising their email said to email,ph or txt… I DID ALL THREE!! The numbers provided were to phones all right, albeit a cell phone, the fax number was a free calling number but only to those within the UK, and Im sure I dont need to wait up for a txt reply! Glad I looked you up tho Scam Forum as it helped put me out of my misery a-whole-lot sooner!!

    as much as i wish this was true, i think as soon as they ask for money to be sent to them to release the cash it dawns on you that this must be a scam. As surely if that money was there and ready to be sent they could deducted the requested amount from the money they want to send.

    i think we stand a better chance of winning in playing the actual lottery or scratchcards : D
